Why do we torture ourselves so, over the loss of a loved one, I mean long after a decent grieving time. I know we all grieve differently, but to rehash such loss too long is unhealthy and damaging to those you profess to love. So why, we fool ourselves if we believe it is only out of love, surely I do not insinuate that we do not love those we have lost, it is a combination of fear and selfishness that we do not move on, never forgetting but continuing to dwell on ourselves our loss. The fear of the unknown, if we are not deeply rooted in our faith, we might actually doubt we will ever see that person again, but that is not true we will regardless remember that person and the time we spent with them till the day we die. Our selfishness is so keyed upon loss, and what we will never again do with these loved ones that we will fail to remember the good, and really look for them in ourselves and others to whom we are close. If you could speak with that beloved one more time, you can be sure you will be admonished for wasting the only gift we all have in common, the gift of life. It hurts me to see those I love in such anquish, especially when they are unwilling to move on, and in essence have prematurely given themselves over to death. Can they even imagine the pain they are causing those who are with them and alive, often seeing that loved one but inable to reach them through the fog of their grief. Let go my friend, move on, those in the profession call it acceptance, you must celebrate the lives of those past without dwelling on your loss. I am sure if they could they would say, “life is for the living”, and then they would wink and hug you. ~ Nick Pensabene
Please stop clamoring for Presidential impeachment, since it has happened in the recent past and yet somehow, that President was never prosecuted. First i would like to say, did not your friends, family, and co-workers elect him, twice, is it not they you should desire to purge. Do you seek to create a martyr, godlike out of a man who has all but failed abysmally as a leader of all people. He instead only leads those that serve his purpose. History is a fickle mistress and with the largest portion of a sycophantic media in his corner, the best you could hope for is embarrassment. The other world powers and every other nation on the planet with few exceptions would label us racists, should we remove the first black President from office, with or without cause. The man will never answer or be held accountable for any injustice he has perpetrated on our great country and its constitution. The civil unrest would be the likes of which this country has never witnessed before, think about it, at the mere mention of disagreement, you are labeled a hate filled racist. The inner cities would burn, thousands would die, it would fall just short of a civil war, only there could be no winner.
I do not like President Obama, there have been only a small handful of things he has done during his Presidency with which I agree. I believe he has sullied the white house by virtue of those he chooses to surround himself with and or defend. I believe he has failed, but I do not believe him the worst President ever, there are a few much worse. He set out to do what he believes those that voted for him wanted him to, he even backtracked like many before him. What most Americans and even President Obama does not understand is, that his legacy will tell one tale, the story of the failures of “Affirmative Action”, surely by now we must realize he was elected for his skin color and the rejection of old white men. We cannot and should not remove him from office, but we should not allow anyone to forget those failures come 2016, when a large percentage of Americans are already saying, “how great it will be to have the first woman President”, such ignorance knows limits. What we need is not a first or diversity, what we need is a qualified leader who loves this country and never apologizes for it. ~ Nick Pensabene
“The damage of divorce”
What has done more to damage the American family and create emotionally damaged young adults than our laissez-faire attitude towards divorce. After all it is nothong more than the legal and systematic destruction of a family. Many of those with children who have divorced or who condone divorce would clamour against disturbing a birds nest or befouling the natural habitat of many a mammal.
Do not misinterpret the meaning of my words, divorce, even where children are present is sometimes necessary, just not at the staggering rates as we have today.
There are times of spousal and/or child abuse, real physical or emotional abuse, when the victim spouse must leave as duty would dictate, despite what tripe you have been fed by enabling psych professionals. Either pack your bags, grab the children and leave, or you yourself become responsible for your own fate.
We as a society have not only
accepted familial divorce, we have created lies surrounding it, things like, children of divorce are much better off, than living in a home without love or one filled with vitriol. These justifications are merely created in order to make us feel better about our own failures to for the sake of the family unit and the lives we’ve created to act in a civil and adult like manner. I have personally heard the words, “My children have turned out fine” many times and can only wonder, what an odd statement. Many child victims of sexual assault turn out fine also, but do we not do all in our power to shelter them from this possibility.
I do not seek to indict those who have divorced, that is history now and the damage is either done or not. What I can say to those same people is you owe it to your children to unite in your divorce as was never apparently possible during your marriage. You can never replace the broken family, but can do your best to properly raise your children.
If you are without children or not yet married, I ask you to seriously consider the responsibilities you must face before leaving the world of me and entering the land of us. Take no such duty lightly, because all our futures depend on it.

If we live within our comfort zone, chances are we are cheating or fooling ourselves. It is always easy to dream of happiness, success and love, and yet, be doing nothing to bring ourselves closer to these desires. In fact within the safety of our zone we are often without knowing it doing the very opposite of what is needed to realize these dreams. There is room for little else here, it is quite crowded with our fear, selfishness, immediate gratification and self delusion. We romanticize that which we desire, especially love, bemoaning that we deserve better and it is out of our grasp, yet it is right there on the edge of the horizon, just beyond the place where we imprison ourselves. The bindings and doors that keep us here have no knots or keys, but our own fears and the inability to see ourselves as we are, flawed and unwillingness to embrace the flaws of the world around us. So we mustn’t mourn that which we do not have or haven’t achieved, chances are we have not taken the necessary steps beyond the place we find most comforting to find them and if we do not, we never will.

“Freedom of speech is Dead”
The cowardly corporate maggots at SiriusXm have terminated Anthony Cumia, of the Opie & Anthony show for a situation and comments that did not even take place on their airwaves, the incident was not illegal nor were there any official complaints lodged. The oddest thing about this story is Anthony works on an uncensored XL (extreme language) channel on their satellite platform. Most Americans couldn’t care less about the freedom of speech of those they do not like or with whom the disagree. Why should I care, I’m sure many of you are thinking, he’s a vulgar misogynist and racist, he deserves his fate, well time to care, before it’s too late. ou see the O&A show may be alot of things, many negative and yet so many positive, like the fact that unwittingly the 3 hosts Anthony, Greg “Opie” Hughes, and the comedian Jim Norton, present and represent all sides to every story. I’m going to make this clear, that should not even be necessary, but it is nice. So why is this the death of free speech? Anthony Cumia has been an outspoken proponent of everyone’s freedom to their
There will be no overt celebration of independence day this year, instead I will like most people just celebrate the 4th of July, picnic and fireworks day, and lest we forget the unofficial beginning to summer tourism throughout the nation. Don’t worry, this is not an indictment of those who do not understand or care about the meaning of this holiday. I am merely throwing in the towel, you see I can no longer in good conscience celebrate independence day, except in its most simplistic sense. That would be the commemoration of the day our founding fathers declared we would no longer be a colony of England, we would stand as a sovereign nation onto and governed by ourselves. The country has taken a turn away from freedom and its true importance, we no longer value patriotism, strength, honor determination, excellence, perseverance and achievement. We now are only enamored by those things in the most symbolic way, as with a majority of those claiming to love, who actually only enjoy the thought of being in love. We not worship at a new alter, and that would be representative and symbolic sloganism, and emotional activism. Where we falsely believe just because we feel strong emotions regarding a subject we have become crusaders and thereby patriots in our own right. We couldn’t be more wrong, most never even examine that about which they feel strongly, why, because we are afraid. The truth is, “We can’t handle the truth”, it’s not all nicely packaged multi colored and tied neatly with a nice bow. We are merely extensions of our childhood, immature and ill prepared selves. Somehow the thought never crosses our minds that there is more often than not a clear right and wrong and more importantly a illuminated path toward freedom.
I am saddened to be an American but more importantly I am ashamed of my fellow citizens, most but not all and these aforementioned things are merely a scratching. Our borders are over run and many will justify this through lies and emotional reasoning, our President treats illegal aliens as if they were hero’s which is constitutional treason. Our school systems are failing to prepare with real life educational skills. Parents are proudly raising molly coddled, emotionally damaged, spoiled dumbasses who can not cross an intersection without laws and or physical intercedence. We have racial strife like never before as special interest runs uncontrolled and unquestioned with witch hunt after witch hunt, to publicly destroy those that speak unkind or disagree. We have no foreign policy, our justice system can be rigged by media influence or Presidential lip biting. Yet daily I hear the selfish, cowardly and fearful, asking for more government intrusion on their behalf. Our soldiers continue to die, no not on battlefields of righteous retribution and patriotic intervention, but in foreign lands engaged in policing civil wars that have been raging since the dawn of time. Yet our own borders are laid bare by restrictions of engagement and political chicanery which seek to elevate one party as the party of the downtrodden and common folk. We preach diversity as if it were our reason for greatness, a misleading play on words if there ever was one. We were great because of the diverse range of people that settled here and became unified as Americans not for any other reason, certainly not because we were polarized and segregated.
I am sure many of you are shaking your heads thinking to yourselves is it really that bad, aren’t we the greatest nation on earth? My short answer is yes and no respectfully, we were the world leader in almost all things we are no a morally corrupt, physically damaged and emotionally driven soon to be ex superpower. So you see It’s really very simple, I can’t celebrate our independence, since we are no longer free. Yes I am a patriot, down to my last possible cell, and I will continue my fight until my last breath, should there ever be a revolution I will be standing shoulder to shoulder with my brother and sister patriots defending the constitution. Until then America will continue on like the great titanic moving steadily toward the iceberg of its imminent destruction, while the majority of its citizens party, until the actual destruction leaves all scrambling for a lifeboat, and there will be none. I truly know how Taylor, played by Charlton Heston felt at the end of the great 60’s film “The Planet of the Apes”, when he realizes the half buried Statue of Liberty simply meant his ancestors and descendants managed to destroy themselves and most of the planets population. “Damn them, damn them all to hell”.
We must teach about freedom in our schools, unapologetic about our past in the hope that maybe, just maybe all will realize the importance of freedom before it’s too late. Enjoy your family, picnics, fireworks and your perceived freedom. I’ll take this watch.

There is no reason that any business operating within the United States, should be able to circumvent our laws. Religious Freedom is a personal freedom which cannot be passed on to businesses or their owners. Suppose I founded a religion that chooses not to pay taxes, because we believe it to be an offense to our god. The Government makes laws that are to protect the civil rights of the citizenry not business, one of the biggest mistakes we’ve ever made as a nation was corporate law and how it created a living entity where there was none, this lead to Wall street and unfettered greed, but sadly that is another story. I am not in any way a fan of Obamacare and believe it to be unconstitutional despite the findings of the Supreme court. This brings me to the second and blatantly more important part to this story. This Government, our government, by the people for the people is well outside it’s operating authority, when it has begun and continues to mandate private business and its employee compensation packages. Hobby Lobby should be lobbying against the law on constitutional grounds and not under the guise of religious freedom.
Those of you incensed at my statements on the grounds, I would respectfully tell you to mark my words this ruling will come back to haunt you on levels unimagined.
